Installation

The most important part of a hardwood floor installation is selecting your species of wood, an appropriate stain (if applicable), and a finish that meets your needs. We will patiently assist you and offer our expertise to make sure you are confident in your selection. When installing hardwood, pre-finished or raw hardwood, the sub floor is critically important. It should be dry and smooth to create the optimal environment for your floor.

 

Inspection

If you are having problems with your wood flooring and are unsure if they are the result of a poor installation or manufacture defects, you may want to have an independent third party determine if a problem exists, and what the potential causes are. Wall to Wall now offers a NWFA certified hardwood flooring inspection service. For more information please contact Mark Prentice.

What you can expect from Wall to Wall Flooring Specialists:

  • Obtain a chronological history of the flooring installation
  • Preform an on site inspection
  • Preform and record field test results
  • List detailed observations of the problem areas
  • Photograph areas of concern
  • Collect samples for lab testing, if applicable

Mark will also prepare a report providing:

  • Claim History
  • Job site description
  • Product description
  • Description of complaint/problem
  • Field and/or lab test results
  • Applicable industry and/or manufacturer standards
  • Conclusion based on collected data and field tests
  • Identification of responsible party

 

Warranty

At Wall to Wall we pride ourselves and have built our reputation on quality workmanship and superior customer service. We offer a life-time warranty on all of our wood flooring installations. These warranties are for installations that are installed over a plywood sub floor above grade, we do offer a life-time warranty on all wood flooring installed over concrete as well, however this warranty does not include any type of moisture or water, only workmanship related issues. If we seal your slab using the Bostiks water sealer we can offer you an unlimited warranty.
